Nebraska City Woman Wins $50,000 Playing Zombie Bash

December 6, 2012 – Teresa Saldana of Nebraska City won $50,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Zombie Bash from the Nebraska Lottery.

Saldana purchased her winning Zombie Bash ticket at Casey’s General Store, 946 11^th Street in Syracuse. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $50,000.

There are three $50,000 top prizes available in Zombie Bash. Saldana is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on October 29, Saldana told Nebraska Lottery officials that she didn’t believe she had the winning ticket after she scratched it off. “It thought it was fake, or a joke,” she said. “I guess I was wrong.” Saldana plans to pay bills using her winnings.

Zombie Bash is $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win over $1 million in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning the $50,000 top prize in Zombie Bash are 1 in 100,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.21.
