$10,000 Powerball Prize for Omaha Man

February 26, 2010 – Jens Mogensen of Omaha recently won $10,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 20,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Wednesday, February 24, drawings. Among these winners was Mogensen, who purchased his winning Powerball ticket at Hy-Vee Gas, 3404 North 156th Street in Omaha. The five-play quick pick ticket contained one play with four of the five white ball numbers (04, 17, 35, 50, 57) and the Powerball number (12) from the February 24 drawing for $10,000.

Two hundred and seventy-two Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 723,145, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 35.11.
