Crofton Man Wins $1,000 Playing The Dog

November 23, 2009 – Wilmer Kuehler of Crofton won $1,000 playing the $3 Scratch game The Dog from the Nebraska Lottery.

Kuehler purchased his winning The Dog ticket at Yankton Shop EZ, 89823 Highway 81 in South Yankton. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one “dish” symbol for a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are six $1,000 prizes available in The Dog. Kuehler is the first person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

The Dog is a $3 holiday Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $980,400 in cash prizes from $3 to $25,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing The Dog are 1 in 80,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.41.
