October 16, 2009 – Dennis Lampman of Norfolk recently won a total of $22,006 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 7,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Monday, October 5, drawings. Among these winners was Lampman, who purchased his winning 2by2 ticket at Fast Mart, 315 Omaha Avenue in Norfolk. The ticket was good for multiple drawings and contained the winning red ball numbers (1, 17) and white ball numbers (13, 15) from the October 5 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Because Lampman purchased a multi-draw ticket, he also won $6 by matching one white ball number and one red ball number from the Tuesday, October 6 drawing, making Lampman’s total winnings $22,006.

One hundred and ninety-four Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on October 8, Lampman told Nebraska Lottery officials that he learned he had won after checking the winning numbers at the Nebraska Lottery web site, nelottery.com. He plans to purchase a new car using his winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
